OUAGADOUGOU- L'ES Sétif s'est qualifiée pour les 1/8e de finale de la Ligue des Champions d'Afrique de football, après avoir battu Yennanga du Burkina Faso sur le score de (4-3) mi-temps (2-0), lors du match retour des 1/16e de finale disputé dimanche à Ouagadougou . Les buts de l'ESS ont été inscrits par Nabil Hemani (29, 78), Lazhar Hadj-Aissa (44) et Hachoud dans le temps additionnel (90+5). Le club burkinabé a insrit ses buts en 2e mi-temps (49, 60 et 83). Lors du match aller joué il y a deux semaines à Sétif, l'ESS s'était imposée par 2 à 0. En 1/8e de finale, le représentant algérien sera opposé au club camerounais de Coton Sport Garoua, qui a éliminé l'AS Vita Club de la RD Congo (1-0 et 2-0). Le match aller aura lieu au Camroun entre le 22 et 24 avril, alors que le retour sera joué à Sétif entre le 6 et le 8 mai.
